Young Volunteer Sport Award

Volunteer engagement is one of the key elements in the life of the associations and a vital component of the sport sector. Therefore, for this new edition of the Young Volunteer Award (in French “Trophée Associ’Actifs”), the Regional Olympic and Sports Committee from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes has decided to pay tribute to its young leaders, coaches or referees who are involved in the daily running of their association.
The trophy rewards every two years, 8 winners aged under 30 years in 4 different categories:
- Leaders or commission managers;
- Referees;
- Coaches;
- Volunteers under 18.
The news this year will be the creation of the category “Sport and Disability” to highlight clubs that invest and innovate for all audiences.
Carole Ponchon, founder of BeInnovActiv’, was part of the jury and presented herself at the awards ceremony while volunteering with the youth committee of the Regional Olympic and Sports Committee Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
