ADVANCE Testing in South Africa

BeInnovActiv’ will pay a visit to South Africa to provide support to Akhona Makalima in the development of her Action Plan towards empowering women and girls in her country.
During a week, Carole will deliver sessions at Primary and High Schools for more than 150 girls and their parents based on the ADVANCE programme and tools she is currently testing.
The concrete idea of the ADVANCE programme was born in Carole Ponchon’s mind as she was in the US taking part to the GSMP leadership programme.
It is our understanding that providing people with the necessary compass to tell the stories about the life skills developed through sport should help contribute to tackling various pressing challenges of our societies. During the sessions, Carole will provide hints, insights and guidance to facilitate a transfer of innovation regarding a successful method using sport and physical activity to trigger the employability of individuals – with a special focus on those at risks (NEETs young people, unemployed, ect).”
